Illustrate the role of World Wide Web into the field of e-commerce.

In the 1990 year, the advent of the World Wide Web upon the Internet represented a turning point into e-commerce by giving an easy-to-use technological solution to the difficulties of information publishing and distribution. The web made e-commerce an inexpensive way of doing business and enabled more diverse business activities. Utilization of the Internet and web-site is to permit vendors and service providers to perform business on-line. The Internet assists e-commerce and this also needs an infrastructure which permits customers to visit virtual shopping malls for items on sale. The concept of such was developed in 1999 year. Ecommerce needs a secure way to transfer the money electronically.

Internet promotes e-selling within fraction of seconds. Therefore, it promotes the development of a customer base. This promotes interactive surveys. Its users opinions can be gathered anywhere as this gives real time statistics to the uses.
