FitAll Ltd is a company that manufactures clothes. Its processes are manual and there are stand-alone Information Systems that aid to manage them. The Information Systems were purchased from several vendors and help in processing data of only the business function they represent with no means of sharing data. Management is now considering the implementation of an ERP Package.

(a) Lists the problems faced while using the unintegrated system in the Sales and Marketing area and illustrate how an ERP system can resolve the problems.

(b) Illustrate, with appropriate examples, how the marketing campaign of FitAll Ltd can benefit through cross selling and up-selling, while explaining the difference between the two terms.

(c) Illustrate how customer relationship is promoted through the various phases during which customers interact with the organisation.

(d) As a Chief Financial Officer of FitAll Ltd, you need detailed records to report your financial status to the government. What functional areas provide that information and what information do you need?

(e) How can an ERP system help FitAll Ltd to promote the Sarbanes-Oxley act?
