Illustrate about the SOFTWARE PROCESS TECHNOLOGY
Software industry considers software development like a process. According to Rumbaugh and Booch, "A process defines who is doing what, how and when to reach a certain goal?" Software engineering is a field which combinesmethods, process and tools for development of software. Concept of process is the main step in software engineering approach. Hence a software process is a set of activities. When those activities are performed in particular sequence in accordance with ordering constraints, desired results are produced. A software development project needs two types of activities which are development and project management activities. These activities together includes a software process. As different activities are being performed in software process, these activities are categorized into groups known as phases. Every phase performs well defined activities.
