Walking

In the process of walking the motion of the two legs is coordinated so that one foot or the other is always in contact with ground. Walking is the best form of exercise for a diabetic patient. This can be done at any time and at any place.

Do's of Walking

1. Proper physical check up by a doctor before walking.

2. Wear cotton loose cloths while walking.

3. Wear comfortable shoes.

4. Check for any bruises or injury of feet's or legs.

5. Follow steps of exercise.

6. Regular 30 minutes walking at least for five days a week.

Don'ts of Walking

1. Do not start walking without check up or doctor's advice.

2. Do not wear synthetic clothing while walking because it does not absorb the sweat.

3. Do not go for walking if there is any injury in the legs or feet.

4. Do not wear torn or uncomfortable shoes, it may cause injury.

5. Do not stop the walking abruptly otherwise you have to start it from the beginning.
