How many types of keys used to encrypt and decrypt data in Secure Sockets Layer?

Two forms of keys are used as ciphers to decrypt and encrypt data. Private keys are referred to entities and are never specified out. Public keys are specified out freely. Both keys are essential for authentication routines. The data encrypted along with the public key cannot be decrypted along with similar key. The private key should be used.
