How is absorption occurred in fibre material?
Absorption is associated to the fibre material. It is caused by three diverse mechanisms, which are:
a. Absorption by atomic defects within the medium as glass or plastic,
b. Extrinsic absorption through impurity atoms into the host material and
c. Intrinsic absorption through the fundamental constituent atoms of the fibre material.
