How does photoperiodism affect the flowering of some plants?
The Flowering is an easy and typical to observe example of photoperiodism. Most of flowering plants flower only during specific periods of the year or when placed under some conditions of daily illumination. This takes place because their blossoming depends on the duration of the photoperiod that in its turn varies with the season of the year.
