a) Failures in software development would include excessive cost and/or schedule delays to never fielding a system. Briefly explain the risks associated with development teams, technology and requirements when developing software applications.

b) A Risk Treatment Plan (RTP) consists of all Events/Threats, which could affect a project or an organisation. An assessment of the risk is performed and countermeasures are identified.

How can a particular risk be assessed?

c) What are countermeasures and what are the objectives of implementing a countermeasure?
