How are fiber optic made?
The actual process varies significantly from one manufacturer to other. In essence, a huge cylinder of core is made off high purity material, an element termed as preform. It is later heated or treated and drawn in a filament that is then coated along with the external layer with a diverse refractive index.
Other systems contain co-extrusion, direct co-polymerization, continuous casting, injection, soft extrusion and wet drawing with mercury formers.
These later ways, and others under research, try to get a better alignment of polymer chains in order to enhance transmission and decrease attenuation. Actually, the fiber stretching and tensioning after drawing to encourage molecular alignment is one of the industry secrets.

A closed magnetic circuit of cast steel have a 6cm long path of cross-sectional area 1 cm 2 and a 2 cm path of cross-sectional area 0.5cm 2 . A coil of 200 turns is wound arou
what is the equation for work
It is the magnetic flux density which still remains in magnetic materials even when the magnetic force is removed. It is measured or calculated in Weber/m 2 .
Using a wheel and axle Use the pencil sharpener that you used in experiment A 8. Pull on the end of the string that held the books and observe how rapidly the crank turns.
Point out the direction of the current if any induced to flow in the coil by the changing magnetic field. (Depicted is a view of the coil from the side. Toward the top of the displ
