• Straight payout period:                                 5 years

• Heat Loss Calculation Program:                    North Am. Ins. Manufacturers Ass. 3E Version 3.2

• Hours of operation:                                       39420 (90% of number of hours in 5 years)

• Bare surface emittance :                               0.8 emittance Steel

• Outside surface emittance:                            0.1 Aluminum

• Energy conversion efficiency:                         70% for Hot Service

• Fuel type:                                                       Natural gas

• Fuel heat content:                                          0.0382 GJ/m³

• Fuel cost:                                                        $5/GJ

• Pipe and Insulation dimensions per ASTM C   585

• Yearly outdoor ave. amb. Temp.:                    0.2°C (32.4 °F)

• Yearly outdoor ave. wind vel.:                        10 km/h

• Indoor ave. Temp.:                                         15ºC

• Indoor ave. wind vel.:                                     0 km/h
