High energy fixation - Nitrogen Fixation

Through cosmic radiations, lightning, volcanic activity and meteorite trails which provide the high energy needed to combine atmospheric N2 with oxygen and hydrogen of water. The resulting ammonia and nitrates are brought to the earth by rainwater.
