Short wave diathermy utilized electromagnetic wave in radio range ( ~10m ) and microwave range (~ 12cm) .Short wave diathermy penetrate deep into tissue ( more than conductive and, radiant methods).It can be used in relieving muscle spasms, inflammation of the skeleton .
