Q. Headline - Component of print Advertising Copy?

It refers to words which are in most important positions of advertisement. These words are read initial by the audience. These are specified in larger type size. Headline is the mainly important part print ad- copy. Headlines pull the attention of audience and arouse the interest of readers in rest part of ad-copy. It must be clear, simple, short and should attract/hold attention of the audience. It should be shown in a prominent manner in the advertisement copy. It can be about significant feature of the product and manufacturer's achievement in addition to Special offers or special news etc.
