#quesThe spring controlled governor of the “Hartung” type has two rotating masses each of 3.5 kg and the limits of their radius of rotation are 100 mm and 125 mm. The each mass is directly controlled by a spring attached to it and to the inner casing of the governor.

In addition, there is an equivalent constant inward radial force of 100 N acting on each revolving mass in order to allow for the dead weight of the mechanism.
