Assignment Help:

Pre-Diabetes is a condition where blood sugar level is above normal but below the value to be diagnosed as diabetes mellitus. It has been found that those people with blood sugar values lying in between the normal and diabetic range have a high risk of getting diabetes mellitus. Impaired Fasting Glucose (IFG) and Impaired Glucose Tolerance (IGT) are two types of "pre-diabetes". Both categories of pre-diabetes are risk factors for future diabetes and for cardiovascular disease.
