Gloves : Gloves should be worn when transferring toxic, radioactive and carcinogenic compounds, irritants and corrosive liquids. The practice of wearing rubber gloves continuously for laboratory work is not recommended, as the hands become very moist and sweaty. Skin infection may result. Rubber gloves also make it difficult to grip wet glass and, serious accidents may result from dropped bottles or glassware.
