Introduction to object oriented Analysis & design: tools

In case of OOAD, Unified Modelling Language (UML) is a well accepted language. It is used for constructing, visualizing, specifying and in final documentation. The basic building blocks of UML used for OOAD is consist of things, relationships, and diagrams. The Unified Modelling Language basically focuses on the concepts of Booch, Object Oriented Software Engineering (OOSE), and OMT. The result of these concepts is a common, single, and widely usable modelling language for users of all the methods. It also promotes the concept of what can be done with existing methods.
