E-mail system is mostly used for sending message electronically to group or individuals of individuals in inter and intra office environment. It needs networks to connect them. In the world of information technology E-mail is taken to be first experience and exposure to the field of data networking and communication. All we have to get set for-e-mail is a computer, a modern and telephone line. The message is typed on a computer screen at one side, and is transferred to the other end through electronic impulses. The person operating the computer terminal at the receiving side is alerted by signal that a mail, or message, meant for him is in the electronic mailbox. It is now the fastest means of transmitting messages. E-mail messages are considered to be highly secure and confidential. E-mail messages will be easily stored for future reference. An E-mail system will do more than just send message back and forth.
