Q. What are respectively some remarkable functions of albumin, myosin, CD4, keratin, immunoglobulin, reverse transcriptase, hemoglobin and insulin?

Myosin is a protein that when related with actin produces a muscular contraction. CD4 is a membrane protein of some lymphocytes, the cells that are contaminated by HIV. Albumin is an energy storage protein and also a vital regulator of the blood osmolarity.

Keratin is a protein with structural function present in the epidermis and skin appendages of vertebrates. Immunoglobulins are the antibodies, specific proteins that inactivate and attack strange agents that enter the body. Reverse transcriptase is the enzyme responsible for the formation of DNA and transcription of RNA in the life cycle of retroviruses. Haemoglobin is the proteins that bring oxygen from the lungs to the cells. Insulin is a hormone secreted by the pancreas that takes part in the metabolism of glucose.
