Freed slaves, History

Assignment Help:

I found this monument to be very interesting and very inspiring. As the book explained, most freed slaves had a hard time adjusting to the freedom. Most of them were homeless and wasn't able to support them self, so to witness a monument that was funded by the earned wages of freed slaves, gave this monument a grater value.
