The midpoint of the line joining (2a, 4) and (-2, 3b) is (1, 2a +1).Find the values of a & b. (Ans: a = 2, b = 2)

Ans : A(2a, 4) P(1, 2a + 1) B(-2, 3b)

2a - 2/2 = 1 & 4 + 3b/2 = 2a +1

We get a = 2 & b = 2.
