Find the number of drives in the jukebox, Operating System

Assignment Help:

Q. In a disk jukebox what would be the result of having more open files than the number of drives in the jukebox?

Answer: Two bad results could result. One likelihood is starvation of the applications that issue blocking I/Os to tapes that aren't mounted in drives. Likelihood is thrashing as the jukebox is commanded to switch tapes after every I/O operation.
