Q. The resistance of a nichrome wire at 0oC is 10 Ω. If the temperature coefficient of resistance is 0.004/oC, find its resistance at boiling point of water. Comment on the result.
Resistance at boiling point of water Rt = Ro (1+ αt)
= 10 (1 + (0.004 × 100))
Rt = 14 Ω .
Result: The resistance increases with the temperature.
what is viscosity?
Starting from Maxwell's electromagnetic equations in vacuum, get the wave equations for the four fields vectors E, D, B and H.
what is resistor filter?
Two long wires 'P' and 'Q', carrying equivalent currents of 5 Ampere and the distance among the wire is 5 cm. Determine the force applied on each wire if a. Current flowing in
Can you explain Ohms Law? Ans. If Temperature remains constant then current flow is directly proportional to applied Voltage. I ∝ V, I = V/R (resistance of the conductor)
Faraday constant; F (M. Faraday) The electric charge carried through one mole of electrons (or singly-ionized ions). This is equivalent to the product of the Avogadro constant
