Imagine Joy is the sales manager in a computer retail company and has summarized for each sales transaction the following information:

  • Sales person
  • Date of sales
  • Units sold or returned
  • Total price received or paid out for returns

The data appear below. Joy needs you to find out the following with appropriate titles for the items specified above:

a)  The total $ amount of items sold by each salesperson

b)  The # of units returned

c)  The total $ amount of sales in or after 2005

d) The total $ amount of sales made by someone other than Tim.

e) Among transactions involving at least 40 units, the average # of Inspiron in each sale made by Zaret.
