Although most of the striking and important questions have been considered or highlighted which has to be kept in mind before taking a decision on the proposed strategy change but there are few other factors (which though cannot be said as less important as long as they are factors to be kept in mind for decision making) which can have significant insights into ultimate decision making matrix and outcome. Some of them should be:
- Flexibility of new production process: since the new strategy decision is being considered in light o f changing market conditions, it must also be kept in mind that the suggested strategy may be perfect for present situation but few years ahead they might be inevitable strategy change again and reengineering the process flow will again consume cost and time and hence while deciding upon present process flow it makes sense to keep flexibility as an attribute of it. Not only future need but flexibility given a consideration may enable one to absorb cyclical/seasonal changes or grabbing cyclical/seasonal opportunity.
- Management & Staff Readiness: Though top management is the decision making authority but in present scenario it makes once to evaluate cost of training & educating present staff for need changes. Also one needs to evaluate readiness of staff to learning & change and potential to perform up to expectation. Also this change will require reviewing and modifying or introducing new principles & policies for company.
