Q. External coatings on vessels?

All pressure vessels that will be installed underground shall have an external coating applied according to the following procedure:

• All exterior surfaces shall be commercially blast cleaned (SSPC-6) of mill scale, rust, dirt, or other contaminants.

• WorleyParsons shall witness surface preparation prior to application of coating.

• A 12 mil coating of coal tar epoxy shall be applied to all exterior surfaces according to Manufacturer's Specification and the coating shall be holiday free.
