Explain various types of psychological tests.

Several of the popular psychological tests are:-

(i) Intelligence Tests - Intelligence tests are conducted for having a concept of the intelligence of a person with reference to an examination of mental traits as mental alertness, power of memory, power of reasoning, originality and Initiative.

(ii)  Interest Tests - Interest tests are designed and specified to candidates to understand their areas of interest.

(iii) Aptitude Tests - Aptitude means natural capability to acquire knowledge or skills. The purpose of these tests is to determine the potential of individuals for development on the jobs of their interest.

 (iv) Personality Tests- Personality tests are conducted to assess the Self Confidence, Temperament Courtesy, Dominance, Emotional, Maturity, Team spirit and Value System of the individual.
