Q. Explain Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus?
It is the most common form of diabetes accounting for 90-95% of patients with diabetes. Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus was previously called as Non Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus (NIDDM). The pancreas does not make enough insulin to keep blood glucose level normal or production of insulin is there but it is not working properly.
