Explain the two types of materials that are formed after doping.
Depending on the impurity added, extrinsic semiconductors can be then subdivided in two types of class:
N-type semiconductor
P- Type semiconductor
When to pure germanium, a small amount of pentavalent impurity that is antimony is added further. Four of the five valence electrons will involve covalent bonds, and fifth will be nominally unbound and that will be available as a carrier of current. Such are termed as N-type semiconductor. In such type of semiconductor electron are the majority carriers.
When a trivalent impurity as borson, and Gallilium are added to an intrinsic semiconductor, only three of the covalent bonds can be filled, and the vacancy which exists in the fourth bond constitutes a hole. That is termed as P type semiconductor wherein holes are the majority carriers.
Q. Show the familiar electric sources? Batteries and ac outlets are the familiar electric sources. These are voltage sources. An ideal voltage source is one whose terminal volta

Production of Rotating Fields from Single-Phase Windings In this subsection we show that a single-phase winding carrying alternating current produces a stationary pulsating flu
Metering Standards Relevant standards on metering are given in Table. Table: Relevant Metering Standards Standards Description
(a) Some antennas have a physical aperture area A that can be identified and is related to the effective area A e by A e = ρ a A, where ρ a is known as the aperture efficiency.
In this Project you will simulate a Security Alarm system using the Quick flash board. A switch is placed as shown in the figure below. The main goal of this project is: Task 1:
