Explain tie-in promotions with retailers like fast food, Operation Management

Assignment Help:

Some IMC campaigns that seemed obvious to me as a consumer include Apple and Microsoft product launches where they do a lot of push strategies, e.g. getting product to retailers, salesman training, sales incentives, etc., and a lot of pull, heavy consumer advertising, launch events (pr), consumer sales promotions, etc. Movies are another example where they heavily advertise, use positive review to stimulate consumer interest, tie-in promotions with retailers like fast food chains, related product sales like toys or CDs, etc.
Can you think of another example of a product that has embraced the IMC concept based on your observations as a consumer?
