Explain Tidal Volume and Inspiratory Reserve Volume

Tidal Volume (TV):  It is the volume of air that is taken in or given out during quiet breathing. The volume 1s about 500 ml.

Inspiratory Reserve Volume (IRY):  It is the volume of air that can be taken in by forceful inspiration over and above the tidal volume.  It varies from 2000 to 3300ml.
