Threaded Binary Tree :
If a node in a binary tree is not having left or right child or it is a leaf node then that absence of child node is shown by the null pointers. The space occupied by these null entries can be utilized to store some part of valuable information. One possible way to utilize this space is to have special pointer that point to nodes higher in the tree that is ancestors.
Explain the Abstract data type assertions Generally, ADT assertions translate into assertions about the data types which implement ADTs, which helps insure that our ADT impleme
Explain an efficient method of storing a sparse matrix in memory. Write a module to find the transpose of the sparse matrix stored in this way. A matrix which contains number o
Define Big Omega notation Big Omega notation (?) : The lower bound for the function 'f' is given by the big omega notation (?). Considering 'g' to be a function from the non-n
A depth-first traversal of a tree visits a nodefirst and then recursively visits the subtrees of that node. Similarly, depth-first traversal of a graph visits a vertex and then rec
The worst case of quick sort has order O(n 2 )
Comparison Techniques There are several techniques for determining the relevancy and relative position of two polygons. Not all tests may be used with all hidden-surface algori
Define a B-Tree Justas AVL trees are balanced binary search trees, B-trees are balanced M-way search trees. A B-Tree of order M is either the empty tree or it is an M-way searc
