Explain the uses of arithmetic processor
A processor has arithmetic processor (as a sub part of it) which executes arithmetic operations. The data type, assumed to reside in the processor, registers during execution of an arithmetic instruction. Negative numbers can be in a signed magnitude or signed complement representation. There are three ways of demonstrating negative fixed point these are- binary numbers signed magnitude, signed 1's complement or signed 2's complement. Most computers use signed magnitude representation for mantissa.
Task 1: Methodologies are 'regarded as a recommended series of steps and procedures to be followed in the course of developing an information system' and were introduced to im
Explain the working of Static RAM - Computer Memory? SRAM devices tender extremely fast access times (approximately four times faster than DRAM) but are much more expensive to
Salient points about addressing mode are: This addressing mode is employed to initialise value of a variable. Benefit of this mode is that no extra memory accesses are
What is an algorithm The solution to any problem that is stated by an exact number of well-defined procedural steps is known as an algorithm.
The do while Loop This is very similar to the while loop except that the test occurs at the end of the loop body. This guarantees that the loop is executed at least once before
In binary counter the flip flop of lowest order position is complemented with each pulse. This means that JK input position must be maintained with logic one
Which of following can not be accessed randomly DRAM, SRAM, ROM or Magnetic tape ? Ans. Magnetic tape cannot be accessed randomly; it can only be accessed sequentially.
What is the difference between a constant and variable? Explain with example. A C constant is usually just the written version of a number. For example 1, 0, 5.73, 12.5e9. We
