Explain the uses of arithmetic processor
A processor has arithmetic processor (as a sub part of it) which executes arithmetic operations. The data type, assumed to reside in the processor, registers during execution of an arithmetic instruction. Negative numbers can be in a signed magnitude or signed complement representation. There are three ways of demonstrating negative fixed point these are- binary numbers signed magnitude, signed 1's complement or signed 2's complement. Most computers use signed magnitude representation for mantissa.
Q. Illustrate control and timing signals? The requirement of I/O from different I/O devices by processor is quite unpredictable. In fact it relies on I/O needs of particular pr
What is Immediate addressing The data itself, beside the address, is given as the operand or operands of the instruction.
Communications Parallel tasks classically need to exchange data. There are many ways in which this can be accomplished, such as, through a network or shared memory bus. The act
