Transport Layer: The transport layer controls and makes sure the end-to-end integrity of the data message propagated by the network among two devices that gives for the reliable, transparent transfer of data among two end points. Transport layer responsibilities comprise message routing, error recovery, segmenting and two types of fundamental services to an upper-layer protocol: connectionless and connectionless oriented.
