Explain the Spinning Problems

The Law of Conservation of Angular momentum states that if there is no net applied torque on a body then angular momentum is conserved. This is similar to the Law of Conservation of Momentum.

This means that L1 = L2 and equivalently,  1 ω1 =  2 ω2 if there is not net applied torque where

L1 is the angular velocity at time 1,

L2 is the angular velocity at time 2,

Ι1 is the moment of inertia at time 1,

Ι2 is the moment of inertia at time 2,

ω1 is the angular speed at time 1, and

ω2 is the angular speed at time 2.s
