Explain the Side Relief Angle

It is angle made by flank of a tool and plane perpendicular to base just under the side cutting edge. if the side relief angle is very large the cutting edge of the tool will break because of insufficient support where as if side relief angle is very small the tool can not be fed into the job, it will rub against the job and will get overheated and become blunt and the finished obtained on the job will be rough.
