Explain the Objectives of Congenital Heart Disease ?

After reading this unit, you should be able to:
1 Comprehenced the epidemiologic significance of congenital heart disease (CHD) in the Indian context;
2 acquire a basic understanding of the common congenital heart diseases;
3manage and stabilize a patient with CHD;
4 acquire an understanding on the issues involved in deciding timing for interventions and surgery in CHD; and familiarize with common surgical and interventional procedures and provide basic follow-up care for CHD after procedures.
