Explain the Normal Constituents of Urine

The normal constituents of urine are of two types. These are the organic substances and the inorganic substances as listed

Organic substances: Urea, creatinine, ammonia, uric acid, hippuric acid, amino acid, urine pigments, vitamins, hormones and their degraded products, and enzymes.

Inorganic substances: Chlorides, phosphates and sulphates of sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium etc. Sometimes, certain abnormal constituents are detected in urine. We call them abnormal because normally they are not present in the urine.
