Explain the Muscle layer
This layer consists of two layers of smooth muscle. The outer layer is a longitudinal muscle layer and the inner layer is a circular muscle layer. But there are some exceptions in some organs. Between these two muscle layers, there is a network of nerves called the myenteric plexus. It contains both sympathetic and parasympathetic nerves.
