Inventory inspections are often referred to as “baseline inspections” since they generally become the benchmark for assessing the results of all future inspections. Inventory inspections identify potential structural problems; such as if the facility is scour critical. Aided by a prior detailed review of plans, it is during this inspection that any underwater members are noted for subsequent focus and special attention.
