Assignment Help:

Explain the Hormones in the urine

Increased or decreased production of a hormone in the body alters the amount of hormone or its degraded products excreted in the urine. For example, pregnancy tests are based on increased chorionic gonadotrophin present in the urine. Corticosteroid hormones are reduced in Addison's disease, which is due to a failure of the adrenal cortex.
