Explain the Disorders of the Female Reproductive System

Over the last decade, there has been a growing concern regarding the prevalence and extent of reproductive tract infections (RTIs) and other gynaecological disorders in women in the developing countries.

For a proper understanding of gynaecological disorders (including reproductive tract infections - RTIs), it is important to have a common conceptual framework for defining the different types of morbidity that can occur in women. Morbidity in women can be categorized as reproductive or non-reproductive morbidity. Reproductive morbidity refers to diseases that affect the reproductive system, although not necessarily as a consequence of reproduction.
