Which of the following is not a difference among DNA primase and DNA polymerase?

A. DNA primase can initiate replication of DNA de novo whereas DNA polymerase needs a short oligonucleotide sequence.

B. DNA polymerase is a processive enzyme (can synthesize thousands of bases at a single stretch) whereas DNA primase can only synthesize 10-20 bases at a time.

C. DNA primase lacks proofreading activity and is therefore highly error prone whereas DNA polymerase is capable of correcting its mistakes and therefore makes few if any errors.

D. DNA primase replicates the leading strand whereas DNA polymerase replicates the lagging strand.
