Explain the Cabinet Respiration

Such an apparatus is used when the respiratory muscles are paralyzed by an injury or an infection. A cabinet respirator consists of a box in which the patient is placed with his head outside and an air-tight seal around his neck. Respiratory movements are brought about by lowering and raising the pressure in the box.
