Anthropometric measurements

Anthropometry is the study of the measurement of the human body in terms of the dimensions of bone, muscle, and adipose (fat) tissue. Anthropometric measurements are a means to assess the nutritional status of patients. There are various measurements as part of anthropometric assessments. The most important measures are: height, weight, waist measurement and Body Mass Index (BMI).
