Problem:

A survey usually originates when an individual or an institution is confronted with an information need and the existing data are  insufficient. Planning the questionnaire is one of the most critical stages in the survey development process. Social and behavioral scientist have given a great deal of thought to the design of questionnaire.

(a) Make a list of ten desirable features required for the design of a good questionnaire.

(b) Following the design of a questionnaire, assess the ways of administering by means of:

 (i)  Face-to-face interview.
 (ii) Telephone interview.
 (iii) Mail.
