Explain Squirrel- cage rotor
Squirrel- cage rotor having of a slotted laminated core of sheet-steel. The slots of the rotor are not always parallel to the slots on the stator, but they are given a twist called as skew. (Skew decreases noise, eliminates cogging and enhances the starting torque). The windings are placed in the slots. Every slot carries a thick copper or aluminum bar. These bars are short-circuited on either end by a solid copper or aluminum ring known as end-ring. Most of the 3-phase induction motors are of squirrel cage type, due to its rotor is simple and rugged in construction and is cheaper.
Wires A as well as wire B are both made out of copper. Both of wires have the same length. The diameter of wire B is doubles that of wire A. Answer: Resistivity is a charac
formula used in thermoelectric thermometer experiment
A player hits a ball at some angle the ball goes high up in the space the player runs and catches the ball before it hits the ground which of the two has greater displacement?
Describe Kirchoff's Voltage Law? Ans. It describe, " the sum of the Voltage drops around a DC series circuit same to the applied voltage or source. E = E 1 + E 2 = E 3 .
why is friction a necessary evil?
A rigid object is a body with a exact and unchanged size and shape i.e. a body is said to be rigid if the distance among any two particles of the body remains invariant.
The discharge over a triangular notch can be written as Q = (8/15) Cd (2g)0.5 tan(θ/2) H5/2 If an error of 1% in measuring H is introduced determine the corresponding error
Take the difference among your experimental value and your known value, and divide that difference by your know value. Say you experimentally found the force of gravity to be 8m/s
