Explain Squirrel- cage rotor
Squirrel- cage rotor having of a slotted laminated core of sheet-steel. The slots of the rotor are not always parallel to the slots on the stator, but they are given a twist called as skew. (Skew decreases noise, eliminates cogging and enhances the starting torque). The windings are placed in the slots. Every slot carries a thick copper or aluminum bar. These bars are short-circuited on either end by a solid copper or aluminum ring known as end-ring. Most of the 3-phase induction motors are of squirrel cage type, due to its rotor is simple and rugged in construction and is cheaper.
Explain Centripetal force?? Sir Isaac Newton suggested that motion in a straight line is most natural, and that deviations from this type of motion are caused by a force pullin
The magnetic induction at a point 15 cm from a long straight wire carrying a current is 4 X 10 -6 T Compute the current. (J - 12) B = μ o I/2πa I = 2πa X B/μo Current I
why the magnetic field is zero at the center point of the earth
Q. Find the electric potential at a distance 0.09 m from a charge of 4 X 10 -7 C. The electric potential V = ( 1/4πεo ) q /r = ( 9 X 10 9 X 4 X 10 -7 )/ 9 X 10 -2 = 4 X 10
Angle of friction is the angle between the resultant vector(resultant vector:-resultant vector of frictional force and normalforce) and normal force vector.
if length changes then there is change in the time period how to solve these questions regards

The molar heat capacity of a gas at constant pressure is 18.7 J mol -1 K -1 . What is the heat capacity of 9.4 moles of this gas at constant volume ?
Pauli exclusion principle (W. Pauli; 1925) No two similar fermions in a system, like electrons in an atom, can have an equal set of quantum numbers.
