Explain Some Functions of Riboflavin?
Protective role: Riboflavin protects the octodermal tissues and prevents lesions of the skin, eye and nervous system. Riboflavin ameliorates cardiac damage and also has antimalarial effects.
Regulatory functions: Riboflavin is concerned with the regulatory functions of some hormones involved in carbohydrate metabolism.

Riboflavin deficiency slows down the uptake of pyridoxine and decreases the conversion of pyridoxine to its metabolites.
