Single piece pattern
These are inexpensive and the simplest type of patterns. As the name indicates, they are made of a single piece as shown in Figure.2.2 this type of pattern is used only in cases where the job is very simple and does not create any withdrawal problems. It is also used for applications in very small scale production or in prototype development. This pattern is expected to be entirely in the drag.
