Explain sexually-transmitted diseases, Biology

Assignment Help:

Sexually-transmitted diseases

Many travelers have new sexual contacts during their journeys and are at increased risk for acquiring sexually transmitted diseases including HIV, particularly when visiting developing countries with a high incidence of STDs in the local population. Hepatitis B is the only STD for which a vaccine is available. Travelers should be aware of this risk and of safe sex practices for disease prevention; use of condoms should be emphasized.
